Cold war-1

I was royally conferred engineering degree in 2006 only to remain jobless for 2 years. My first job opportunity knocked the door way back in Jun/July 2007. A lecturer from my department at college contacted me as there was shortage of faculty(having coming to know that I was jobless..... ).I agreed to serve as a part time lecturer without giving a second thought(had experienced enough of humiliation).Being jobless after graduation is the most ghastly thing I have ever gone through in life.

Joined as a part time lecturer and served for 5/6 days and quit the job. Every one presumed that I was afraid of the students ,be it . Let people take it the way they want,honestly I wasn't afraid ,Could have managed any number of hooligans(students!!!!!!).Some how I started feeling that "this is not what I want to do".My parents especially my mother was horrified to hear that I had resigned ,but nothing could convince me to get back to it.

Then came this job of supply chain and logistics mgmt,which had the same fate as that of part time lecturer .The company which had hired me had to bear me for 1 month.

Aah......... what a relief!!!!!!!!!!!! second job mercilessly quit.

Number 3 should have been a permanent job as per a kannada saying (moorakke muktaaya).

Worked as a project assistant in a so called reputed organization.Donno why ,the scientist I was working under kind of hated me from the first day.

Now introspection and speculation of the possible reasons to hate me:

1. I never used to talk to anybody unless initiated .


2. My wicked face


3. Didn't ever praise my senior.


4. And the last one ,the top secret that somehow had leaked and was known,talked about in the whole dept.

That my senior's wife was very authoritative at home and he had no say at home.

So,poor fellow hated females ........ haha and tried to control us as much as possible.

Almost 12 months of sheer enemity (between me and my senior) relentlessly undergone.

Now details about the nature of the job:

1. Preparing word documents and taking printouts for anybody and everybody in the organization(not necessarily official )


2. Preparing plans of a palatial mansion(not really.... sarcastic comment!!!!!) that was due for construction(was of a technician working with me......... mind it....... totally unofficial work)


3. Roaming with files for weeks together just to get the signature of some useless fellow .


4. Getting Roses for my senior so that he could gift it to someone special or whatever(donno the hidden facts)

My journey didn't end there.

Flashback-2

ಸರಿ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಸೇರ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಆಯಿತು.ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನ ನೋಡಿದ್ರೆ ಅಸೂಯೆ ಆಗ್ತಿತ್ತು .ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರೆಲ್ಲ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನ್ನ ನೋಡಿ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಕಮ್ಮಿ ಇದೆ ಅನ್ನಿಸಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರು ಆಯಿತು. ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಡೇ ಅಂತ ಮಾಡಿರೆ ಹರಸಾಹಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಯಾವದಾರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲೇ ಬೇಕು ಅಂತ . ಬಾಲೋಧ್ಯಾನ ನನ್ನ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹೆಸರು.ಹೇಗಾರು ಮಾಡಿ ಯಾವುದಾರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಲೇ ಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ತವಕ ಇರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಒದಗಿ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಒಂದೇ ಸಲ ,ಸಮೂಹ ಗಾಯನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ -ಹಾಡಿದ್ದ ಹಾಡು ಅಪಾರ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಗಳಿಸಿ ಮೆರೆವ ಭವ್ಯ ನಾಡಿದು ,ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸರಳ ಅನ್ನೋ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಯಾರಿದ್ದರೋ ನೆನಪಿಲ್ಲ . ಬಹುಮಾನ ಅಂತ ಒಂದು ಟಾರ್ಚ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು .ಪ್ರಾಯಶಃ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಇತ್ತು ಅನ್ನಿಸತ್ತೆ . ಇದೆಲ್ಲದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ವಿಚಾರ ಮರೆತಿದ್ದೆ .ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗೀತಾಭ್ಯಾಸ .ಶುರುವಾದ ವರ್ಷ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆನಪಿಲ್ಲ .ಅಜ್ಜಿ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೇ ಅವರು ಪರಲೋಕ ಯಾತ್ರೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ೧೯೯೨ ಇಸವಿ ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೆ ಅಂತ ಭಾವಿಸಬಹುದು. ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹಾಡ್ತೀನಿ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಒಳಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ವಿದೂಷಿ ಅಂತು ಆಗಲ್ಲ ಕಚೇರಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ . ಹೇಳಿಕೊತ್ತದ್ದನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಲಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಹಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ,ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಕೂಡ ಪಾಸು ಆಯಿತು . ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಲಿಯುವ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವೇತನ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ .ಒಂದ್ ಸಲ ಆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೂ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ .ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗೀತ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿ ಜಗನ್ಮೋಹಿನಿ ರಾಗದ ಅಲೊಂಕಾರ ಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡು ಅಂದರು ಒಂದೆರಡು ನಿಮಿಷ ಹಾಡಿದ ನಂತರ ತಡೆದು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ :ಈ ಗೀತೆಯ ರಾಗದ ಜನಕ ರಾಗ ಯಾವುದು ? ನನಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೋ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಆ ಗೀತಯನ್ನ ಹಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆ . ಆ ಗೀತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೊಂದು ಸಾಲು ಇತ್ತು " ಜನಿತ ಜಗನ್ಮೋಹಿನಿ ರಾಗ " ಅಂತ ,ತಕ್ಷಣ ಹಿಂದೂ ಮುಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸದೆ ಜಗನ್ಮೋಹಿನಿ ಅಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಕರು ಬಿದ್ದು ಬಿದ್ದು ನಗಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಜಗನ್ಮೋಹಿನಿ ರಾಗ ಜಗನ್ಮೊಹಿನಿಲೆ ಜನ್ಯನ ಅಂತ ಕೇಳಿದ್ರು ನಾನು ಹೂ ಗುಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅಪಾರ ಸಂಗೀತ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಅರಿವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಮ್ಮ ಸಾಕು ಅಂತ ಓಡಿಸಿದರು.
